gilmore girls

I am here, but I have had a ton of work to do, and family all over here, and another headache from hell (one day I will post about the cluster headaches, but I like you all too much to subject you to that right now). And there has been some Gilmore Girls.

For the longest time, I have heard about the Gilmore Girls show, and I hadn't watched it. I watch very little TV in the evenings, and that whole not-TiVo thing and bad memory meant never remembering to watch it, but I somehow managed to catch it from the beginning for the last couple of weeks. Now I see why a lot of people were telling me to watch it; on top of it being funny and extremely well written, it's similar in tone and style to some things I've written, and I like the characters.

I've managed to watch (borrowing taped versions) most of the episodes through season four, though no one seems to have the finale. I've found a great fan site online with the transcripts (which also have the transcripts up through episode 8 of this year, which has only aired episode one or two, I think,) so I know where the show is going and I'm happy. But I really really want to see that finale episode from season four -- the transcripts are good, but not as good as seeing. So if you have the finale on season four and would be willing to make me a copy, I promise to LOVE YOU FOREVER and name a character after you in my book. And if you have all of season four in decent quality and are willing to make me a copy? Wow. I'll have to come up with something. I would of course pay for copying costs / shipping, etc. Just leave a note in my comments and I'll e-mail you.

I must go get some work done now.

Gilmore Girls is the best show. My wife and I have been watching it since it started many years ago. We watch it every week without fail (sometimes we have to record it) but it is great. Enjoy it. Stop by my site sometime if you get a second.

LOL. I "listen" to it rather than watch. I always seem to be doing something else and actually stopping what I'm doing to watch TV has never been a habit I cared to start. But I DO listen. ;)

Welcome to the wonderful world of Gilmore addiction. I've been hooked since my sister told me (mid-season 1) that I totally have to watch this show because the Mom/Daughter thing reminded her of me and my oldest.

Invest in the DVDs (season 1 and in Dec season 2 becomes available) because there are just moments when you totally need a fix. ;-)

Alas, that doesn't help you with the season 4 finale, does it?

Sorry I can't help you with the tape request, but I concur with the rest of the comments. Gilmore Girls is great show. I think the seasons just keep getting better and better.

Okay, so color me totally clueless.

*ducks at the shocked looks she knows she's about to receive*

What is the Gilmore Girls?

Yeah, Yeah, I know I don't get out much.

Is there a place I can go to check it out?

I like seeing what other people are watching. That's how I got totally hooked on CSI and Sex in the City. (doesn't hurt that I'm a Chris Noth and William Peterson fan *mad blush*)

Someone bring me back into the looop!

I've never watched GG, so I can't help you out with the tape. I know some channel or another shows repeats of the show...I wonder if you could see it when it comes around then.

Now if you wanted copies of episodes of 24, then I could hook you up! *winks*

I am COMPLETELY addicted to GG. Sadly, I am Lorelai and my daughter who is 13 is totally Rory. Same kind of story, my parents are socialites...

I found them because my boyfriend watches and noticed the similarities. I love that damn show.

Well, I am now officially obsessed. Scary. I am annoyed that I have to put up with the writers doing things to make the couple not get along and have a happy ending (because the stress raises the stakes and keeps up the interest, ratings), but I just want it to have ended with them together, happy. Damn it. This is why I write, I realized, because I can do what I want with the characters.

Man, I have recently found the Gilmore Girls myself and it's now on my Season Pass on TiVo. I can't stop watching it man. I didn't realize that ABC family had so many addicting shows on it! Awesome blog!

Hi Toni, I have the last episodes of season 4 on cd, (you can watch them on the DVD player) and the quality is pretty good. So if u want them, let me know. We could start a trading thing here, since I would love to have ALL seasons, but it will take a while to download.
I live inHolland, and that means we get everything here (all the series) like one year later! but I can't possibly wait so long, so I download everything like a week after it is broadcasted. Only I lost a lot of files one time...
It would be great if we could all trade!
Does anyone know any new transcripts website? gilmore girls.net just closed down and the other (Trix or something like that?) is not available at certain hours.
If anyone is interested, I have episodes 415 till the end and all of the newest season. I also have some of season 3 somewhere... Anyone has episodes from season 1 or 2? I would like to have them on cd, since the video system is different.
